Pro Clinical Hydroxycut reviewsPro Clinical Hydroxycut is a dietary supplement from Hydroxycut, who claim to be “America’s#1 selling weight loss supplement brand” with over “95 million bottles sold” of this particular product.

Pro Clinical Hydroxycut has been designed with a “scientifically researched weight loss key ingredient” to provide metabolism boosting, energy boosting and advanced weight loss. The key ingredient is robusta coffee extract (canephora robusta). According to the official Hydroxycut website, in a study where all participants followed a low calorie diet and moderate exercise, those who took the key ingredient for 60 days lost an average of nearly 5 pounds more compared to those who didn’t take it.

Each serving of Pro Clinical Hydroxycut (2 rapid release caplets) contains the following formula: 145 mg of Calcium and 441 mg of a combined Hydroxycut Blend Weight-Loss Plus Matrix (robusta coffee extract, papaya, blackberry, saffron extract) and HydroxyBoost (caffeine anhydrous, maqui, amla extract).

Users are instructed to first assess their tolerance with the rapid release caplets. For the first 3 days it is recommended that users take 1 caplet, twice per day, with a glass of water 30 to 60 minutes prior to your two main meals (a maximum of 2 caplets per day). Starting on day 4 – as long as you are tolerating the pills well – you can increase the dosage to 2 pills, twice per day, with a glass of water before your main meals. No more than 4 pills should ever be taken within a 24 hour period. Users are also cautioned not to take Pro Clinical Hydroxycut within 5 hours of bedtime.

The reason these pills should not be taken too close to bedtime is they contain caffeine. To be more precise, each serving contains 200mg of caffeine, which is the equivalent of an average of 2 cups of coffee. Therefore, taking the maximum dosage would be equal to about 4 cups of coffee, which is a lot of caffeine.

Anyone who has sensitivity to caffeine may not be able to tolerate this product or its maximum dose. Furthermore, to help further reduce the risks of unpleasant side effects, such as sleeplessness, jitters, restlessness, headache, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, etc., it would also be wise to avoid ingesting any other caffeinated foods or beverages while taking Pro Clinical Hydroxycut.

Negative side effects aside, caffeine is well-known for providing a boost in mental focus and alertness and research has found that when it is combined with physical activity, it can increase the rate of fat burning. Be that as it may, this doesn’t mean that simply because this dietary supplement contains caffeine that it will be effective in helping you lose weight or that it is safe for you.

In this same vein, simply because a few studies were conducted on canephora robusta and found promising results, this doesn’t mean that this ingredient is effective for weight loss. Further clinical research is needed to determine just how safe and effective this ingredient is for weight loss.

It would be in your best interest to first consult with your healthcare provider prior to taking Pro Clinical Hydroxycut.
